City Rise Hotel Miri Reviews (Miri Centre)
From the moment I arrived, the hotel felt welcoming with its clean layout and lively spaces.
The reception area has sofas for their guests to sit and wait.
The floors were shining clean and the interior was very welcoming and homey making the experience very relaxing.
They had an instruction standee with rates with charges listed out for ease.
Next I headed to the lift area to get to my room. Even the lift area felt tidy and the lift was spacious enough for both you and your luggage.
The entrance to the hotel had glass doors with the Hotel logo on the top and plants which made it feel very homey.
I also got to the parking area to park my car and it was quite spacious and clean. Usually parking spots are either crammed or not clean but the Hotel did a great job at providing a nice spot to put your cars while you enjoy your stay.
Inside the lift, they had a floor directory which marked all the floors in the hotel. Their amenities included a coffee house, a meeting room, a function hall, prayer room, business Centre, sky lounge, rooftop swimming pool, gym and a sauna.
Now the lobby area was very warm toned and had a nice blue and yellow carpet. The area didn’t feel crowded and the rooms were spaced out for the convenience of the guests.
It was a long corridor with rooms on either side and carpet for that comfortable feel.
The rooms were clean and neatly arranged, making it very easy to settle in. The layout was simple and practical with two beds facing a TV for entertainment.
The lighting in the room was bright, giving it a fresh look, the bed was comfortable and the setup looked suitable for both longer and short stays.
The interior was very colourful with a nice painting at the headboard and dark black out curtains for a nice night’s sleep. A table and storage was also available to settle right in.
The storage contained some basic things to help you settle: a safe to lock in your valuables, a scarf, and slides to walk in.
The closet also had an ironing table tucked in for a quick ironing before you head out for a day in the city.
There was a little corner desk/vanity area with tea and coffee tray for a sip of tea.
The room service included some dishes like duck pasta, mee Ayam, etc. along with a Milo drink.
The washroom area was also very organized and clean for a relaxing grooming and shower time.
The other room service menu included sections like vegetarian with vegetarian noodles; local dishes like Malaysian breakfast, fried noodles, laksa; western section with burgers, American breakfast, quesadilla; dessert section including fruit desserts and ice cream; along with multiple section of beverages including teas, coffee, milk drinks, soft drinks canned, and fresh juice to have a fresh start to the morning.
