Yori Story Korean Restaurant Miri
For side dishes, they gave us some veggies like radish, carrot, corn, green chili and other pickled options.
They also served us lettuce for some crunch which paired really well with other banchan and dishes.
The whole meal was a nice mix of Korean dishes- seaweed soup, marinated beef, japchae, tteokbokki, egg rolls and vegetable pancakes, covering all the Korean flavors in one meal.
The seaweed soup was light and had a brothy taste, served in a metal bowl with seaweed pieces in it.
The marinated beef had a deep charred look. It was tender and was covered in a light glaze and sesame seeds. It was served in bite sized pieces.
Japchae was a very unique dish with glass noodles mixed with vegetable giving it a slightly sweet taste along with the savory flavor.
The tteok-bokki came with soft rice cakes and fish cake in a spicy sauce- a simple and enjoyable dish.
The meal also included egg rolls which were soft, creamy and properly rolled with a drizzle of hot honey; along with vegetable pancakes that were crispy on the outside and nice and savoury on the inside.
