The City Rise Hotel, Miri is a fantastic and medium budget stay for someone looking for comfort while being away from home or even a staycation.
It includes many amenities like a swimming pool, gym, open roof lounge area and for the convenience of their guests- a spacious parking area.

Right as you enter the reception, there is a notice board with instructions for ease of access of both new and regular guests. It explains that the parking is First Come, First Serve basis- which is important for busy hours. It also states that overnight parking for non guests will be charged and the time for checkout for clear expectations.
The entrance to the parking lot is straightforward with a ramp to drive in the cars, space to turn the car to a desired parking spot and marked areas with pillars to park cars. Guests can simply drive in after checking in without extra hustle and tickets for convenience.
The Hotel has instructions for the guests that the parking is free for guests, but you must check in first and let the staff know the car number plate. The gate system will then recognize the car number and let it in automatically.
The parking space itself is very open and has marked pillars to easily remember where the vehicle was parked.
There was enough space for guests to park even in rush days also, the gates and sheltered parking also gives the guest an ease of mind for their vehicle- especially for overnight stays.
The exit gate has an automatic gate system with a camera and mechanical gate, it recognizes the number plate and opens the door automatically which is a very cool tool. The exit also displayed the message “Thanks for Visiting” which showed the care for guests by the Hotel.
To get from the parking area to the guest rooms, there’s an attached lift which also takes you to the amenities.
