Welcome back to my Jinhold Hotel Miri series where I will be showing you around the hotel before you spend your money. In this article, let’s visit the swimming pool and gym of this hotel.

Swimming Pool & Gym of Jinhold Hotel Miri
Taking the lift from the hotel ground floor lobby, I was greeted by a directory at the Level 2 lift lobby. I find it very helpful as it provides clear directions for first time visitor like myself.
The swimming pool is open for hotel guests from 6AM to 10PM. I had to scan my hotel room card to enter the pool area.
At the poolside, it was lined with wooden pool lounger chairs for a daytime sunbath.
A beautiful view of the nearby forest can be seen from the pool. With the pool handrail so close to me, I feel tempted to jump into the water to cool off from the hot weather in Miri.
There is also a children’s swimming pool next to the lift lobby.
Since there is no lifeguard on duty, parents are responsible to supervise their children and a life ring buoy is available in case of emergency.
Walking along to the shaded end of the swimming pool, I can see the view of Miri Airport from here.
Before heading over to the gym, I took a detour to visit the Putting Green.
This place is ideal for anyone who wants to play a game of mini golf on the carpet grass.
Besides that, the area is furnished with outdoor table sets and day beds. I can’t wait to lay down on one of the swinging day beds and read a book to pass my time here. What a luxury!
Now, let’s check out the hotel gym room. The gym is filled with natural lighting as it is enclosed in glass wall that gives an illusion of open space.
The gym is exclusively for in-house guests only and the rules for using the gym are pasted at the entrance.
The gym provides many types of equipment for complete full body workout such as treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical trainer, gym ball, yoga mat, lat pull down machine, functional trainer, weight bench, dumbbells and rack.
After finishing my workout either in the swimming pool or at the gym, the hotel conveniently provided towels on a shelf outside the shower room.
