Upon exiting from Miri Airport, Jinhold Hotel Miri stands tall in view with its modern organic architecture design. The combination of greens and steel bars is definitely hard to miss. It is the only high rise building near the airport area.
At arrival, I parked my car at the hotel’s Open Space parking. It is a spacious outdoor parking area with a barrier and ticketing system. Plus, it is secured with CCTVs. I felt safe leaving my car outside. The hotel has basement and hotel compound parking too for the convenience of the hotel guests in case it is raining outside.
Then, I walked to the hotel’s main entrance lobby to proceed with my check-in. The hotel set their check-in time at 2pm, while the check-out time at 12PM.
I arrived the hotel a little early. Thankfully, there was a comfortable waiting lounge for me to sit down and rest. It is decorated with wooden furnishings with cream colour sofa that is soothing to the senses.
After I received my room key, I continued sightseeing around the hotel compound.
I felt at peace whilst admiring the contemporary interior design and indoor garden. It helped to create an atmosphere of calm and serenity.
Wow, it was no surprise to learn that Jinhold Hotel Miri received high ratings for their hospitality. Look at all the amazing certificates of achievement on display here.
As I walked along the inner court, there are two lifts that can be found at the lobby central area. The lifts connect both the hotel and serviced apartment buildings and they are the only access point to the rooms.
I also found a second lounge area with a vending machine and a small library near the lift area. This is a good spot to chill with cold drinks and snacks, or have a slow reading time. Take note that the vending machine only receives cash of RM1 and RM5.
Moving on, I spotted a beautiful indoor pond with a small garden at the central of the hotel. The stillness of the pond and its clear water washed all my stress away. The design was very unique to me and it sparks my creativity. It made me felt so grand and luxurious to be here.
Now, let’s go into my room to unpack and let loose. I booked myself a Standard Room and it was impressive! The warm tone and cleanliness of the room introduced the feeling of comfort.
