Hello and welcome back to my Jinhold Hotel Miri series where I give you the first look before setting your foot here. In this article, I will bring you along with me and see what Jinhold’s breakfast buffet has to offer.

Breakfast Buffet at Jinhold Hotel Miri
Jinhold’s breakfast buffet is open daily from 6:30AM to 10:30AM at their inhouse Restaurant MAK for a fee. The Standard Room that I booked is inclusive of breakfast buffet so I get to walk in for free.
A waitress greeted me at the entrance and registered my room number. She then showed me the way to the dining hall. The buffet counters lined up in a L-shape layout that made it easy for me to scan through the food options on display.
The dining hall is wide and spacious with a tall ceiling. The large tinted window panels allowed in the right amount of daylight to light up the room and the air-conditioning kept the place cool.
At the hot food section, there are French toast, baked red bean, baked mash potato, chicken hotdog, local fried bee hoon, beef rendang, white fragrant rice and condiments for nasi lemak.
Moving on, there is a yoghurt section with choice toppings of oatmeal, honey and mixed fruits bits.
I enjoy good warm toasted bread and pastries. So to find this toaster sitting here made me happy and looking forward to a good breakfast toast!
My breakfast toast wouldn’t be complete without eggs. I was hoping to find omelet or sunny side up, however there are only half boiled and hard boiled eggs with various sauces available.
At the bakery section, there are choices of white bread, sandwich bread and buns.
I can make my breakfast toast here at the bakery station where the cutting board, bread knife, fresh vegetables, fillings and jams are ready to use.
To finish off my breakfast, I need my morning caffeine fix. The beverage section is prepared with tea cup sets, sugar, creamer, plastic stirrer, latte machine, coffee and tea pots.
Further down the beverage section, I found more drink choices of hot water, cold water and mango juice.
There are times when my stomach is not awake enough for heavy food so I would go for the porridge and mix in small amount of condiments for flavor that warms up my belly like a hug.
On to the second last section, it was the salad making station where there are fresh vegetables, cold cut platter, coleslaw and variety dressings to pair for the perfect healthy salad.
Finally, what all the children and young at heart people most awaited for, the cereal making section. I don’t mind starting the day with some sugar and sweetness.

Back on my table with all my foods, I saw a stand with beverage menu on it. If anyone wants to drink something else besides the breakfast buffet drinks, feel free to order off this menu such as crafted coffee, crafted iced coffee, Chinese tea, milkshakes, fresh juice and cold beverage.
