Trying Japanese Food at Aoki Restaurant Miri
To start I got salmon sashimi along with some refreshing drinks. The salmon was fresh and orange with nice marbling.
Next I got the garlic dragon roll which came with a nice garlic mayo drizzled on top.
Next we got scallop tama don which a scallop stir fry on a bed of rice. It was umami and made for a nice meal.
We also got a plate of prawn tempura, they were hot, golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The salmon teriyaki bento came with salmon steak, sashimi and inari with a side of rice.
We also got the saba teriyaki set too which also came with soup and rice.
The softshell crab omurice was also a nice dish with crispy crab and and soft omelet.
Lastly, the unagi don with unagi fish covered in an Umaria red sauce, soft omelet and a bed of rice.

The yaki menu was really extensive and continues with seafood items too which was impressive.
They had a variety of deep fried snacks like tempura and karaage for that crunchy bite.

The don menu included fried seafood topped on rice and the sashimi menu displayed fresh cuts of fish.
