From the outside walking in, I am welcomed into an air-conditioned restaurant that is designed with modern Nanyang furnishings.
For my order, I went for the local go-to dish that is the Mee Kering and with a cup of hot Auntea’s Signature Teh C.
I also added on two sets of Roti Kaya Butter as an appetizer. Look at that thick butter stick in between the kaya toast bread.
My friend ordered a bowl of Kolok Yee Mee and a cup of hot Signature Hainan White Kopi.
My friend and I enjoy catching up with each other about recent life happenings over delicious food and drinks that reminds me of the good old days.
After finishing our meal, my friend and I still have some space for extra food in our stomachs. So, we ordered Prawn Siobi, SiChuan Siobi and Preserved Eggs Siobi.
We truly enjoyed the sweetness from the toast and we had to order another set. This time we try the Roti Peanut Kaya Butter toast.
Last but not least, we ordered a bowl of Curry Wantan as a sharing platter because my friend and I are curry lovers. The curry gravy is thick with tender chicken drumsticks, long green beans and wantan. So good!
