Ming Garden in Miri is a Chinese restaurant in a welcoming dining place. The setup was comfortable for family dinners and friends get togethers.

There, we first ordered the luo han guo which was a iced, refreshing drink.
The restaurant served steamed peanuts with the meal.
Next, my friend ordered kam hiong beef, cooked in a spicy curry with onions.
For a serving of vegetables, we got stir fried kailan which was crunchy and sweet with garlic.
We also got their signature tofu, deep fried crispy with a soft center and served with mayonnaise.
We also got the stir fried squid which had a sweet spicy sauce and vegetables.
Lastly, we ordered fried fish covered in a sweet and spicy sauce and served with a bed of veggies.
Menu of Ming Garden Restaurant
The menu was in both Chinese and English- it featured chef’s specials including crispy Suckling Pig, fried lobster, Grouper head and other meat meals.
They had a seafood menu which included seafood claypot, braised sea cucumber and stir fried crab meat.
The menu featured various seafood cooked in different styles like steamed, fried, salads or with eggs.
They also had an option to pick your fish of choice and the style it is cooked in.
The Grouper fish head was available in 4 dishes: curry sauce, claypot, ginger sauce and black bean sauce.
They had a number of ways to customize your dishes with Grouper, red-snapper, seaways, golden and black pomfret cooked in many styles.
Next was mussels, scallops, prawns and squid cooked with various soups, curries, eggs and sauces.
Next sections were beef, venison and pork stir fried, steamed, BBQ sauce or in claypot.
They also had the staple chicken menu with Chinese style deep fried options.
For egg and vegetarian options the menu featured bean curd dishes, omelette, steamed eggs along with stir fried and steamed veggies.
For soups, the menu displayed soup options with shark fin, Crab meat, fish maw, bean curd, sea cucumber and more to choose from.
They also offered platter and combination menu along with birthday sets which consisted of assorted multi course meals.
They also featured a Roasted Suckling Pig set menu which had 1 Pig and 4 dishes.
Their beverage menu included canned drinks, homemade milk and teas, herbal teas and local iced drinks to pair with the heavy meal.
Last in menu was the noodle and rice section which was very extensive with both meat fried and vegetarian noodles or rice to enjoy with curry dishes.
